Judicial Management and Criminalistics Technological Program
ABOUT THE
Program
Judicial Management and Criminalistics Technological Program, with a competency-based curriculum design, responds to local, national and international needs and trends, with the purpose of training a technologist with global empowerment in judicial, criminal or forensic matters, which helps to elucidate the evidentiary elements in the different judicial processes.
The Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN) has granted the qualified registration for seven (7) years to the program of Technology in Judicial Management and Criminalistics, Ministerio de Educación Resolution no. 12552 of August 02, 2018, to the Universidad Industrial de Santander, with SNIES code 90815. The program has a duration of six academic semesters (3 years), with distance mode. Its study days are Saturdays, and according to demand, it will be offered on weekdays, from 18:00 – 22:00.

The applicant to the Judicial Management and Criminalistics Technology program must have the following qualities: Fluency in communication, analytical, receptive to information, sociable and skilled in the use of ICT.

The Technologist in Judicial and Criminalistic Management is a competent person to support, execute, apply and use all the techniques and resources for the judicial, administrative and business performance at regional and national level; with knowledge and pre-knowledge in the areas of criminalistics and forensics, private law and procedural law.
LABOR
Field
.
The Technologist in Judicial Management and Criminalistics has the capacity to perform his functions in the following areas of performance:
- Clerk, citation clerk for courts, family police stations, police inspection, etc.
- Senior officer of courts: circuit, municipal, promiscuous and other judicial offices.
- Police inspector in category III, IV to VI municipalities.
- Auxiliary, police inspection secretaries in category I and II municipalities.
- Facilitator of small and medium enterprises, family businesses, etc.
- Director of a private collection office.
- Judicial assistant to a magistrate or judicial corporation.
- Auxiliary of associations, associations or cooperatives of lawyers.
- Technicians, assistants, assistants, clerks, investigating civil servants or instructors.
- Assistant to experts and police inspectors.
- Investigator in the area of judicial and criminalistics.
- Secretary of conciliation chambers and other equivalent chambers.
