ABOUT THE

Program

Physics, as one of the basic sciences, is considered a priority factor for contributing to the progress of humanity. Since its inception, the undergraduate program in Physics at the UIS (1985) has contributed to the development of the country through the preparation of professionals in the area of physics who have stood out for their work performance and their participation in research projects in universities both in the country and abroad.

The program bases its proposal on the comprehensive training of students who acquire computational, communicative, and experimental skills, which are necessary for their occupational performance in the different areas of application of the profession.
