ABOUT THE
Program
The Agronomic Engineering program at Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) aims to educate well-rounded, ethical, and innovative professionals committed to regional development and the strengthening of the agricultural sector. It focuses on sustainable agricultural production, the efficient use of natural resources, food security, and technological innovation applied to agriculture.
In addition, it promotes critical thinking, applied research, collaboration with rural communities, and the solution of challenges within the agricultural environment.
