Program

The purpose of the Pharmacy Management Technology Program is to train university technologists capable of improving the individual and collective quality of life of society; to actively insert themselves in the social security health system and to work interdisciplinary in matters of their competence; with emphasis on the processes of renewed primary health care and within the framework of the current national pharmaceutical policy.

Additionally, they must have skills in the use of computer tools such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet. It is essential to have strengths for collaborative work, service vocation and social responsibility, characteristics of health programs.

The Pharmacy Management Technologist of the UIS is a professional in the health area, with administrative and communication skills. Within the quality chain, he/she is the articulator between the producer, distributor, prescriber and user of medicines and medical devices. Manages the marketing and sale of services and products of its competence. It develops Pharmacovigilance and Technovigilance and health communication activities.
