ABOUT THE
Program
The undergraduate program in Industrial Design at UIS has a curriculum that offers training experiences its students that will allow them to appropriate the theoretical principles of the discipline and acquire criteria of belonging within the framework of the cultural, scientific, and productive needs of the country.
The program promotes research and co-creation processes, oriented to the acquisition of skills in the resolution of complex problems and the generation of viable solutions, centered on the human being and with an innovative character. Likewise, the program promotes interdisciplinarity, independent reflection, and teamwork in multicultural contexts, where creativity requires combining traditional theoretical and practical knowledge with cutting-edge science and technology.

The UIS Industrial Designer is a highly qualified professional who stands out for his comprehensive training in technical, humanistic, and aesthetic aspects; his ability to solve complex problems focused on the human and with an innovative character; his competence in the leadership of R+D+I processes and inclination for business, research and social entrepreneurship.
Graduates of the program are able to acquire and assimilate new knowledge both in production processes and in the fields of quality control, computer science and machine design.
